I struggle with addiction
Trade in one addiction for another
That's how I live
Once I was addicted to music
... Gave it up to be addicted to sports
Then for movies
Then for money
Then for love
Got hurt
Then it turned to alcohol
Then to drugs
Then to tattoos
Then to sobriety
Then to starting over
Then to writing
Then to love again
My cycle of addiction keeps evolving
Yet revolving around what fulfills me for the moment
