Lotus

A lotus flower you are
The prettiest pink I've seen thus far
High temperatures inside this plant
Even in the cold, still warm and radiant
Cold blooded insect I am to pollinate
Biological attraction, towards you I gravitate
Any harm I hate
To be imposed upon you
So delicate and new
Beauty on a flower last only so long
But your impression last forever being so strong
Pink on the outside, yellow in the middle
Petals tickle my skin, makes me giggle
Gentle with care and no negligence
Sticking around for your sweet scents
Mistakes of my past I live from
As you plant seeds of beauty and wisdom
